Our worship choir is a collection of worshippers who love to lead the church in worship. They meet on Wednesday nights at 6:15–7:30 PM in the choir room and serve in all 3 of our morning services. There is also a 7:30 PM rehearsal for those serving on the praise team or band for the upcoming Sunday.

A variety of instruments (piano, lead guitar, harp, keyboard to name a few) lead in worship weekly in our Sunday services. They rehearse on Wednesday nights at 7:30 PM in preparation for the upcoming Sunday and at timed rehearsals in the orchestra rehearsal room from 6:30–7:30 PM.

Vocal and/or instrumental worshippers.
When: Mainly Wednesday nights at MSM Ignite
How often: Weekly, with occasional pre-scheduled, typically Saturday, workshop events.
Our Children’s and Preschool Choirs are under the supervision of our Children’s Choirs Coordinator, Mrs. Susie Kackley, who directs the Children’s Choir with the assistance of Mrs. Karen Asfour, who directs the Preschool Choir. They learn music and sign language, but more importantly, they learn BIBLICAL truths and have a blast doing it. They meet (during the school year) on Wednesday nights from 5:30-6:30 PM in the HOPE building (upstairs).

Serving in the worship ministry goes far beyond the platform. We utilize volunteers for the lights, cameras, and lyrics, amongst other behind-the-scenes things. Leading worship is a collaborative experience at McGregor.

Our Legacy Choir is a seasonal choir consisting of senior saints (55+) who meet on Tuesdays in room H-100 of the HOPE building. We sing, pray, open the Word of God, and serve the church while fellowshipping together. The season begins in January and continues to around Easter, culminating with the end-of-the-season Praise Breakfast. This event features the choir’s concert, a mini hymn sing, a short devotional, and breakfast.
When: Tuesdays from 9:30 –10:45 AM

This annual multigenerational event is designed to encompass any and all interested church members and their families who wish to use their talents and gifts in any of the ways expressed above, to include those gifted in the areas of acting (speaking and non-speaking), dancing (in large and small groups), set/stage design and building, costume making/sewing, stage hands, props keeper, and various other areas of interest. This can be a one-time “gig,” or you may find that this is just the place that the Lord would have you serving on an ongoing basis.
