Parent and Child Dedication 2026

Parent Child Dedication 2026

Save The Date

Friday, March 27 • 6:30 PM

By God’s grace, we desire to glorify God by magnifying His Word to develop disciples who think biblically, live missionally, give generously, and love sacrificially. Parent and Child Dedication is a time to commit as a family to raise children to understand that they are saved by grace through faith in Jesus, to raise children who believe the Bible is the absolute truth, and to know the importance of committing to a community of faith through the local church. The Preschool and Family Ministry teams strive to partner with our families in modeling what following Jesus looks like.

Parent and Child Dedication is a time for parents to commit to God in front of their church family to raise their child to know Jesus Christ and pray for wisdom and guidance during this new period of their lives. For this reason, parents must partner with McGregor Baptist Church in membership and attendance of a Parent and Child Orientation Class before participating in the celebration. Parent and Child Dedication is not an infant baptism but is based on the presentation of Samuel by Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:28 and the presentation of Jesus by Joseph and Mary in Luke 2:22.

Parent and Child Dedication will take place on Friday, March 27 at 6:30 PM.

At least one parent is required to be a member of McGregor Baptist Church to participate in the dedication. If you are not yet a member of McGregor and desire to begin the membership process, please attend our Prospective Member Class.
