Together, we seek to take the gospel to every nation, all tribes and peoples and languages. By God’s grace, let us live missionally every day.
Our printed GIC Prayer and Trip is available in PDF format at the link below. Learn about and pray for our missionaries featured in this guide and consider joining us on an upcoming trip.
As we partner together for the Gospel, you can start here by committing to give one-time, weekly, or even monthly. If giving online, select the “Global Mission” option. Share with us your interest level in participating in an upcoming mission trip too.
The McGregor “Blessing Mart” is a special area where our visiting missionaries can shop for a myriad of goods and supplies. We are looking to the families of McGregor to purchase items to bless missionaries. Bring your items to either the Faith Atrium or to the East end of Main Street in the Hope Building by January 31, and deposit them in a designated collection bin.

On Sunday morning, February 4, Danny Lightner will be sharing a special message at all of our worship services. Additionally, our 2024 GIC missionaries will be around campus attending services, Life Groups, and have display tables on Main Street. Be sure to meet and encourage them!
Danny Lightner has been married to Sarah (daughter of Lloyd and Cheryl Chase) for 23 years, and the Lord has blessed them with six awesome children, ages 6-16. Danny and Sarah graduated from Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, PA (where they met!), and then Danny graduated with an M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts. Danny was a Pastor for college/youth in New Hampshire for 9 years, and then served as an Adult Discipleship Pastor in Des Moines, IA for six years. It was after 15 years of pastoral ministry that the Lord led the whole Lightner family to serve the vulnerable and orphaned children of Zambia through Family Legacy Missions International. While living in Zambia for seven years, Danny served as the Vice President for Spiritual Development for five years, and then as the Programs Director for two years. Just this past November, Danny accepted a new role with Family Legacy that is based here in Florida, primarily focused on discipleship. He frequently travels back and forth to Zambia to spiritually invest in the 13,000 vulnerable children in our program and the 850 staff who serve them. The whole Lightner family will spend all of June and July in Zambia doing the same!
